Dr. Abhinav Rastogi MD, DNB is a psychiatrist who believes that patient care begins with empathetic listening and it is of utmost importance that the patient feels heard before deciding the course of treatment. He firmly believes that the “biopsychosocial” approach of treatment provides complete and holistic care to the patient, which also addresses the root cause of the illness.

He is the founder of Nirmal Mind Care, Shahjahanpur which provides mental health services that are a class apart and extends help not just to the people suffering from mental illnesses but also to their care givers.

The clinic is located centrally in a prominent locality in the city, it stands next to Khanna pathology which not only makes it convenient for people from the vicinity to consult the doctor but also those from other neighbourhoods to seek consultation and avail services.

Dr. Abhinav Rastogi earned undergraduate degree from the Phillipines and then completed his post graduation in Psychiatry from Mumbai. After earning his degree in Psychiatry he realised that there is unawareness about mental illnesses and stigma associated with it, which creates a barrier and delays in the treatment of the disease thereby affecting the course and outcome of the illness. This further adds to the burden of the family/caregivers.
He continues to strive towards a healthier and integrated community with the mission to reach out to as many persons as possible.
